Boston Garden Parquet Floor Cuff Links in Solid Sterling Silver Settings. Certificate of Authenticity Included
The parquet floor was an important part of the history and lore of the Boston Celtics; however, the parquet floor was not originally part of the Garden. The parquet floor was built and installed in the extant Boston Arena (now known as Northeastern University's Matthews Arena), but was moved to the Garden in 1952. It is said that the Celtics knew which way the basketball would bounce off any particular section of the floor; this was one contributing factor to the Celtics' many National Basketball Association championships.
